What a fun project for me and, more importantly, a great party for Ben! Much of my inspiration came from parties showcased on blogs such as Birthday Girl (and the help of Becca's custom inspiration board), The TomKat Studio, Party Perfect and sweet designs byAmy Atlas, to name a few. I made the six stuffed monsters from patterns I purchased from bit of whimsy dolls and my favorite local bakery, Sheila's Cakes came up with this fun fondant cake to match the party colors and theme. More photos of the activities and games are on the way. . .

Wow, what great ideas, love the monster theme and colors. The crates on the table were just right, and were those real flowers on the table in the yellow buckets, or did she make those? Just wish I had Carrie to do my soon-to-be 4 year old son Jackson's party, guess I'll have to try myself.

Love this party! Especially the banner! Did you make it yourself?
I did! I just cut two triangles out of each piece of 12x12 scrapbook paper (could almost get 3 out of each piece), cut out the letters and pasted them on, punched holes and threaded with twine!
I love this party, great colours. I used these crates in January for my sons party and they were great. Added a touch of masculinity to the dessert table.
I love this party! I am throwing my twin boys a monster birthday party...and I am definately going to snag some of your ideas! I love everything about your party! Where did you get the crates??? I LOVE that touch!!! Also your buckets, where did you find those? I'm debating about making little monsters too...was it hard?
I love so much about this! I've blogged about it here http://www.penandparchment.net/personalized-mealtime-items-personalized-placemats-c-10_124_42.html
